Looking for a flightsim scenery designer?

Since 2006 I've been living entirely on the proceeds from my 'Real New Zealand' scenery sales, topped up occasionally with some graphic design work for some long-term clients. However since 2009 I've been recovering from some severe health problems, and now that I'm fully recovered I am looking at ways to recoup some of this lost income.

So if you want any scenery design work done, please get in touch. I have a very broad range of FSX design skills, but I specialise in 3D modelling (GMAX), texturing and aerial photo scenery. For examples of my work, take a look at these freeware airfields, available from the Avsim library:

Godzone Timaru Airport;
Godzone Hokitika Airport and township.

My most recent payware project is Real NZ Nelson. There are a few videos on my Youtube channel showcasing various scenery projects.

I'm happy to talk about costs etc. No job too small, and I will look at larger jobs, but at the moment, I'm not looking at long-term projects. I can quote an hourly rate or a total price depending on your requirements.

I can also do installers, or write a good manual for your project.

Although this offer is mainly aimed at commercial developers who need help with a project, it is also available to virtual airlines, flying clubs etc, who might want some customised scenery. I'll consider scenery anywhere in the world, you just list any photo or other resources you have, and I'll let you have a quote.

There are also some options for commercial licensing of Real NZ or Vector Land Class products, here in NZ, including the option to include one local airfield custom-built as part of the package. See the Godzone Store Commercial options page.

Any questions, just ask me via the Godzone Store Contact page.

This was previously on the Godzone Store site, linked via Facebook, but now that the blog is active, I'll move it here.

Welcome to the Godzone/Development Blog

Now and then I'll talk about various aspects of scenery design, mainly some thoughts on current projects. This can be serve various purposes, from keeping you informed on the current state of development, through to acting as an informal scenery design tutorial.

First up is Real NZ/VLC NZWN, which is a completely new Wellington Airport and city, replacing the seven-year-old Real NZ Wellington.

As this blog is an experiment in keeping you informed of what's going on at Godzone, please don't publish any information, including screenshots, on any other site without my permission.

You can follow this a number of ways, but the plan is to serve up (WordPress) posts to the Godzone Virtual Flight Facebook page. This is an easy way to put the blog posts onto the Godzone website. I did try to integrate the blog into the Godzone Store, but this caused more problems than it solved.

So to access the Godzone/Development Blog, you can:

Comments are welcome, you can comment here on the Blog site, but it might be easier to comment on the Facebook post.
